Im able to use a car engine hoist on mine just barely. Although I have used a backhoe and also a forklift before.





Here is a picture of the actual height the motor has to be to get out of my boat.

I was bored one day and decided to edit out the hoist. The picture is REAL except for the hoist is edited out.

That crane could lift the whole boat with room to spare.
This same friend lifted all the race boats into the water last year for the race at Grand Haven. He did use a bigger crane though.

Did mine with fork lift rental ($200 a day) and chain from home depot. No problem. Took about 3 hours to put two in.
