Question Bravo 1 tech question

I have a 1995 complete lower unit, and have purchased a 2000 Bravo 1 lower. Will the 2000 lower bolt up to my intermediate section???

From looking at the parts diagrams, it looks like the 2000 lower has a small o-ring protected port running (oil??) from the lower into the intermediate section; and I don't think that port exists on my intermediate housing. I fear the small port will allow oil to pour up into the water jacket / port in the intermediate section.

Help!!!

There is a difference ,you need to look and see if the line up.i think on the newer md its for oil flow.On my B-Max,s they where plugged.
