KCHOTBOAT,

Do the car parts stores sell the Carter pumps with -10 inlets and a -8 outlets? Do you know if they have the 3 or 5 internal valves?

Default Carter Fuel Pumps

Hey Guys...

Just curious if you might have a Carter part number or cross reference application wise for the pumps or lower assembly used on sea pump applicatons... I am also very tired of them leaking into the oil reservoir in less than a year... Yea, I did buy Holley electric pumps to installl, however, with other projects I am about ready to hit the wall relative to running out of time and not having the boat in the water yet...

Thanks, Karl

Not sure of the # of internal valves. I have a spare ...Leave me take it apart....."I'll be back"

Thanks for the part number.

The pumps from CV, not CP, have 5 valves in case you need more flow. The CV pumps are quite expensive. Their site is www.cvproducts.com

Looks like the one from NAPA will work fine for XCAV8's application.

Default Carter Fuel Pumps

Thanks very much for the PN... I only have 525 SC's but they have been able to keep the Dominator bowls full so far... In the event anyone is going to go electric, there is a guy who sells Holley factory rebuilds at about half the price of new... I bought four Holley Red pumps and they are as new... Just yell if you need the number... Thanks again, Karl

Default Fuel Pumps

Glenn,

The Holley pumps came from Bates Performance in Texas. The e-mail address is [email protected] and the guys name is Brandon Bates. His telephone number is 254-867-9274. I purchased Holley Marine Red Pumps and they are as brand new. Any questions just give a yell.

Thanks, Karl
