The Mirage Plus has cupped blades making it act like it has 1" more of pitch. I believe the Plus will slip less too.

A friend of mine ran a 23" Mirage and 23" Mirage Plus on his boat.
Speed was the same but the Plus did it with a few less rpms.
It's my understanding the blades on the Plus are a little thicker and stiffer , giving it a little more "bite"

Yep its the cup. A good prop shop can convert for a reasonable price.

For what it's worth. I have a 21 plus and I tried a friends 23 non plus. Same rpm's with both and same speed with both. the 23 slipped a lot more. The 21 plus popped the boat up faster and does not slip in turns.

I did notice that. The Plus really grabs good in turns. The Cleaver I just took out would blow out in turns really easy.
