Default Leaking Gil manifold 525sc

Rebuilt 525sc's over winter, just got reinstalled & running. Most everything new in engines. Had some water on port engine last fall, thought it was from worn cam. Last night noticed slight milk in valve covers, not on dip stick. Pulled Gil/merc risers, water in manifold on port (1,3,5,7) side. Inside (2,4,6,8) manifold appeared clean, pulled outside manifold & tested w/ hose; obvious leak. Anyone have manifolds?? Ideas for sources.
(2 wk backorder at Gil). Thanks.............Dave

I had to replace my Gils on my '96 525SC this year also. Slight internal cracks in the manifolds. I replaced my with CMI unitops that I got from Jones Marine.

If I had to replace my Gil's, I think I would go with CMI's.

yea, I was kind of thinking about new exhaust all around next year. Feel like I put plenty of bucks into engines this yr already. Also really don't feel like pulling one of the engines again ( to mount manifolds on each) Was hoping to get by w/ another Gil, bum manifold on outside, so i can get at. Plus it's time to go boating in Michigan.
