Was out on the lake today and let someone drive the boat for a little while. They know the lake well (or so I thought) since they live on it. They came back and said they hit a little while starting up, but said it wasn't that bad. Wen they got back it seemed fine and then I went out for a ittle ride. A couple hundred feet from shore the boat was overheating, like 220 range here fellas. Got it back to shore and pulled it out for the day. Will be going in tomorrow or tues, but should I have them check anything right away. Any ideas??? Couldn't believe the temp spike in such a short time..... The boat had run just fine previously. The prop is kinda chewed up as well!! Last time I let that happen. Should have know seeing he only drive a pontoon and jet ski

I would guess you sucked up some sand and mud and your impellar is history. Therefore causing a clog in your water lines with the bits and peices of your impellar.

Let us know what the problem was.

I will let all know, but the moral of the story is don't be the nice guy and let someone else drive your toy! Live and learn I guess.

Please don't ask to drive my boat, my car, or my lady

The answer will be no, no, and hell no.

No-one will ever take care of your stuff like you do.
