Ultradyne
Last week there was a thread lost that asked of the whereabouts of Ultradyne. Harold has moved to Lunati.
Here is the link. Best of luck to a great cam designer. Maybe he will develop a marine line soon!
Hope this helps,
Bob

It would be nice if they let people know?
Anyway, I wound up going with a Comp Cam's cam that was 2 degrees more in duration, and about .002 less in lift. The motor turns the same rpms as the old cam.

Re: Ultradyne
I talked to Harold 2 weeks ago for an hour(smart guy). He got done bad by Comp cams. Hired all of his employees,he lost everything. He told me he had alot of plans for new grinds just had to convince bigwigs at Holley/ Lunati. I ended up buying some custom grinds from him for a customers pair of 604's. One is on the Dyno now

Re: Ultradyne
I ran one of Harolds custom cams in my jet boat, it was exactly what he said it would be. Since then he did me a roller cam for my gen 4 509 with the gen 4 heads in my 29' Stryker. Excellent results 580hp/580tq with almost no dip in torque curve.
He can be hard to get hold of. But will certainly give you an education when you get through.

Re: Ultradyne
MHawkins, what are your cam specs? I'm also running an Ultradyne in my 509 w/Merlin VR heads/ Brodix intake. Mine are 296/306 @ .006, .558/.580 gross valve lift, 112 degree lobe sep.
Just curious... not sure exactly how much HP I'm producing, since I bought it built...
