Welcome to the forum!! This is a really old thread that somone has pulled up. I would start your own thread and title it "Harmonic Ballancer Question?" and see how that goes.

you do not want to run a fluid dampner! they are not sufficient
at controling harmonics in a marine engine application! they are fine for big diesels(that's where they originated) but they
ARE NOT THE TICKET for a sustained higher rpm marine/perf.

only one to use! (why do you think CROWER will void the
warrantee on their crankshafts if a "fluiddampner is used?

Could not agree more. I absolutely refuse to use a Fluid Dampner. I have seen them cause loss of oil pressure at higher rpms.
