Why do u have to use different props in salt water and in fresh water?

I give why do you. I run the same 28" Bravos in salt , fresh @ sealevel and fresh @ 500' altitude with insignificant difference.

Higher altitudes you can lower the pitch because the engine loses some power due to the thinner air.

If there is a correct answer for this question Bajadaze would have the answer.
