The notch in the starboard side of the box is there because of the shape of the plenum and the size of the intercooler. Afterwards I realized that it was also where the Bravo shifter cable bracket has to be mounted. Bulkhead fittings for fuel can be installed in many different places according to how you lay out your fuel system. My preference is to take them out the back.

So this is more or less how we are going to appear at the SEMA show in November, except for a set of CMI elbow top headers that I am trying to arrange.

Water test on NEVRENUFF's boat scheduled for next week; dyno testing on Dean Nickerson's personal boat engine the week after that. Both of these tests to appear in another boat magazine article.

Dean has already posted some big numbers with the Vortech system non-intercooled. Since the Rtech supercooler flows more air than the Vortech carb box and pipes, we will make more power even without water flowing through the core. Just add water and stir.

Any boats with your intercooler have a Stellings extention box?

Hey Greg - You can get any colour you want, as long as it's black! Seriously though, it's easy for you or anyone else to paint it in their signature colours since the side band and discharge tube are a separate piece until you install them between the bottom plate and the lid.

Hi Marty - I always keep that in the back of my mind, because the on board dyno is so cool. All my contacts to date have had Bravo or TRS drives w/o extension boxes. What about Dean Nickerson's boat? If you were to supply the extension box with your transducer installed, you could probably get him to test it. This would make a great magazine article.

To whom it may concern:

We are building a batch of supercoolers in October for delivery after the SEMA show. If you're interested, please get in touch with me before the end of September.

Tomcat,

What is the diameter of the intake going into your cooler. I purchased Dave F's M-4 Procharger and may be interested in your Intercooler/carb box. Here is my set up as it sits. I had to notch my back seat to make room for the Procharger intercooler. I have read about the gains in the dyno run made at Nickerson's and would be interested in a comparison between the AW-504 and your R-thech.

As it sits in the boat without the seat and hatch.

The tube is 3.5" diameter. The important thing you need to tell me is where your compressor outlet sits in relation to the front carb bolts or the front of the port head or some other fixed reference point. Also what intake manifold are you using?

The intercooler core in the Rtech is 468 in3. Considering the better air flow distribution across the core, cooling effectiveness should be as good or better than the 504, with the air flow advantage of the Rtech making the extra power.
