496HO or 500EFI with whipple in the future?

rv,
Challenges with the 496?? None to my knowledge. We taken different approaches to supercharging factory engines. Fuel pressure regulators are not a way to sale a univeral performance kit. We've built a new manifold, intercooler, throttle body, bypass setup, computer calibration and have been testing/validating the system. There are problems with the pump not being large enough, injectors are too small, closed cooling is right in front, etc. but everything like that has simple soloutions that have been implemented in the desigh of our 496 Mercury SC package.
Simply put, the 500EFI has better parts, makes more power, and is pure eye candy, one of the best looking motors around!! The 496 will make plenty of power reliably, but will never make 700+ without upgrading parts, which is unavailable now.
Thanks,
Dustin

We always have some parts from testing or something.
