Default cast parts and blowers?

can you build a mild blower motor and used cast cranks and rods? The reason that I'm asking is for the price of a stroker kit I can buy a used pro charger set up.......whats the best way to go??? I've tryed a B&M 250 set up with bad luck but I guess I dont learn very quick....N/A 496's or cast 454's with pro chargers????just thinking out loud.....

Yea, you'd have to get a second boat to put them in....

low boost (less than 4)
low rpm (under 5000)
and keep her jetted away from the lean side and the Procharger will give you what you want. They can usually be found pretty cheap, too.

A 454 with 4lbs. will make about 450-500hp. Same as a 496. I'd build a 496.

A his/hers set of Boss big block motorcyles! Nothing says "love" more!

BTW-a built 454 will easily make 520hp with a 174, a little more with a 250. You'd be over 600hp with a 8:71. Basically you can take the base hp and multiply it by 1.4 for the boosted hp.

My dealer used to have a pair of B&M 250 blowers for the mercury fuel injection. They were nicely polished and a fair price too.

Dyno says, "I've tryed a B&M 250 set up with bad luck."

May I ask what kind of bad luck you had?
I am quite pleased with my experience with the B&M 250.
Thanks!
Russ
