I'm not so concerned on the actual speed, but more so, the amount of speed increase I would get from these changes. I'm not sure what places like Houston Props are getting for a labbed prop like a Mirage 3 blade. I'll have to check into it. I think the performance gain would be worth the money. thanks again,,, Justin.

1992 mag 350 270hp at crank 250ph propshaft

now I have added EMI's thru hull K&N AIR with a Snub stack, and bumped the timing I would'nt expect that to all together produce a extra 10-12hp not a whole heck of a lot.

but Houston worked my prop and with that and those mods I went from 49 to 54 gps sometimes 55 if 1/4 fuel
I attribute about 3.5 miles a hour to houston and the rest to the minor mods

I want to switch to a BB bravo , but the minute you change the drive to a bravo you need a extra 20hp to overcome the drag of the bigger gears and case

Don't forget that going to a larger prop pitch will decrease you low end performance and change your midrange performnce curve to where you might not want to be.

I am hoping to find a happy medium?!?!? somehow... Very good point though. I have trim tabs to get me on plane quite easily, fully loaded, but I'll just have to try diff. props and see what happens. Thanks again, for all the very helpful info!! Justin
