hydraulic steering
anyone out there have a good used external hydraulic steering system for twin alpha's and the question is can get rid of all the merc steering stuff? power steering pump valve etc.

You can get rid of a lot of things but not the power steering pump. You need to keep that. The new systems ussually do not replace them. I think it will be hard to find them for Alpha's but if you find a Bravo set up you can always get the caps.
