I need the part number for felpro head gaskets for a gen 5 454 mag motor. They can't seem to come with one at the local parts stores.

17040 for 454(up to 4.340 bore size), 17048 (also available as #1047) has a 4.540 gasket bore size. Felpro lists another number, 17046, which has a 4.370 gasket bore size (also available as #1037).

The ones I pulled off last night had a part number of 17042. I am thinking of boring this motor 60 over.

Make sure you keep one of the old head gaskets so that you can compare coolant passages in the new gaskets.

I used the 1037's on my stock bore 454.
