Default Bravo1 life expectancy

I have a 1994 Bravo 1 with 600 hours on it. 125 hrs are with a Procharger at 620hp, the other 475 hrs at 415hp. I was told if you dont hammer it out of the hole or do anything stupid (like not servicing it) I could easily expect 800 hrs out of it. I also have had a drive shower since the Procharger. Shimming at 75 hrs sounds crazy to me.
