Loose Bravo outdrive update
Thanks for all the help so far guys! Ok so here is where I am. A past owner has already installed/used the "gimbal ring kit" as the gimbal housing has the two plastic plugs on the sides up top.
Question is do I still have to remove the entire drive to just try to tighten thru these holes? Second what special tool do I need to do this?
I am assuming if this does not work I will need to remove the drive to access/remove and replace the pin. But these holes will allow me to do this without removing the gimbal housing correct. Thanks again.

Just remove the plugs and use a couple sockets to tighten the tiller arm bolt. No need to remove the drive or anything else. Also snug down the U bolt on the gimbal ring.
If it still has a lot of play, time to repair/replace the arm, upper swivel pin, and gimbal ring. For this, you'll have to remove the drive.
