Sorry to go OT, but I thought you might object to this claim:

I should probably send them an Email of what's the fastest to date huh....LOL Mine had around 75 HP more:D:D
But in reality I don't have that boat anymore, and when I sold it, I sold it with a stock 502 MPI. So actually it just might be the fastest when there done with it;)

Well I got an Email from Jim Shofner(from AZSM) today telling me that they have had great success with a program they have for the procharged 502 with Alluminum heads and a Cam with a 226/236 Duration and a .587/.610 lift. And wouldn't you know it. The crane cam I ordered #168731 is exactly that:):) Gotta love when a plan comes together:D

I told him which heads I have coming:)

a 1999 502 efi mag Gen 6 roller I had was 224/224 .483/.483

an earlier flat tappet mag cam on a GEN V (pre gen 6 roller) was .512/.512 but 211/227 doesn't sound right but I no longer have the documentation for it

I'm just telling you what the Merc service manual says for the Gen VI. Did you actually "read" the profile on your 1999 502 Mag MPI ??

I know you sold it (I sold my 20' Stingray a few years ago as well). But your boat is still a legend in my mind. Besides, the guy in the 200LX is going to die if he goes 89 in that boat.

My guess he will be in the high 70's to low 80's.
I wish him luck and fun. God knows I had fun with mine:D:D
