Platinum, who's manifold are you running? What size are the throttle plates?

I run two different manifolds on this engine:

A Kinsler individual runner (stack) manifold like on the older style Merc Open Class motors. I would have to check the diameter of the butterflys, but I believe they are 2 1/8.

I also have a Dart single plane converted to EFI, with a Dominator style throttle body.

Jody,

keep in mind that the ports on the Merc 900 Open Class Motor (Olds DRCE) do not line up with the ports on a DART Big-M intake runner.

For your heads you need the older style Kinsler manifold for "conventional" BBC heads.
