Question crossovers on a 502 mpi?

Anyone running a crossover on their 502 Mag/Mpi? does it work ok? Do you run a thermostat?

Hardin Marine makes a crossover kit for 1 piece serpintine belts now. I hear they work good. I think the kit comes w/ thermostat.

You will want to run a thermostat and make sure you get water temperature up. ECM will stay in a cold start mode and run very rich if you don't. It will - can wash down cylinder walls and kill the rings if it runs cold all the time. MAKE sure and check your water pressure if you are not running gauges already. Just my .02. Other than circulating pump being FUGLY and a pain when it leaks the stock set up works pretty well. Crossover is not always just a bolt on go set up like they lead you to believe.
