I want to add exhaust flappers without removing the tips. eddie marine has some that I guess bolt in. I've heard they don't last . stainless has some that go in the exhaust hose. Are there any better options? 502 efi dana flow exhaust with bad cylinder

Laktrash - You'll have to go to straight cut tips to use the rubber bolt on's. You'll probably only get a couple of seasons out of them. But like you said they are cheap. Easy to change out too. And they do help keep water out of the exhaust.
You mean the hose connecting the riser to the tips??Never heard of any that go in to the hose.
If you end up replacing tips you might want to think about the straight cuts. Many have flappers built into them. You could check Rex Marine. If you get the straight cuts you'll have the internal flaps plus you can use the bolt on externals for added protection.
My tips are from a Corsa switchable installation and have the built in flappers, but the flaps are shot. Gotta see if they can be replaced
