Default Trailer Repair

I have a Eagle trailer that I would like to have repainted and a new fender put on that was damaged when I had a blow out last year. Does anyone know of anyone around LOTO that will do this. My local body shops said that their paint booths are to small. Or would it be Cheaper to trade it in on a new one. It holds a Baja 252.

Thanks

I had my Eagle trailer repainted last year. I took it a paint shop that does truck and trailers. (Semi's) They had it sandblasted and then primed and painted it with a two part epoxy. It looks good and the paint is tough. I also redid the bunks and replaced all the carpet covered wood pieces on the inside and front and rear of the fenders with aluminum diamond plate. I got most of the aluminum for free. The paint job alone was $700. About another 150 dollars for wood, carpet, bolts and staples. It was a lot of work but cheaper than a new one.

I just got my trailer painted for my 24 outlaw. I had it sandblasted which was $200 and painted which was $800. A regular body shop did the painting. I stripped the trailer myself and put it back together myself which saved me some money.

I did mine here at the shop when my 272 was getting its bottom redone.

Where in Il are you?

By the way. I ordered carpeted bunks from Eagle and the stickers. All are available complete and very reasonable.

Sure. Just give me the details ( ie Do you want new bunks also, do you already have the fenders, are you bringing me the empty trailer, or do I need to remove the boat etc.) Also, what is the general condition of the trailer. Maybe send a pic or two if you can.

Send me a PM with your phone number and email address. I'll send you some pictures and call you on it.
You might be able to repair the fender. Trailer will be empty. The trailer is in great condition except for the fender and cosmetics. Mechanically it is very sound.

Thanks
Jeff
