For what it's worth, I can sell you a pair of KE's exhaust that have about two weeks on them for a real good deal. If you are not running silet choice then you should be good. According to the Hot Boat test completed back in 1997 I think they were good for a 20+ hp inprovement at 5000. You would get the corrosion protection plus performance. If interested email me.

Thanks for all of your input,seems to be between stainless marine and cmi.Just got back from florida where my boat is and was able to get to get a great deal on cmi's installed using some credit from my Q guard extended warranty.Boat should be done in two weeks and i'll be back down to try it out the first week in March, i'll let everyone know how it worked out ,Thanks

I had a 1998 26 Scarab with a 502 MAG in it. I had the same problem with the cast iron stock exhaust, even had to have the heads re-done due to all the salt water reversion. Anyway I put on Stainless Marine exhaust and loved them. Total quality product and I picked up about 150 rpm @ wot!
