Superclean or simplegreen little water and a bag of ice or 2 to use as scrubbing power. when melted drain out

If you have anything painted with a spray can in there be careful the purple stuff will take the paint off.

Becarefull with the superclean. it will bleach (spot) the blue anodize fittings , Its strong stuff

I will second that. It left spots on the pulleys on my 500's.

I now use simple green in a sprayer used for spraying weed killer. I dilute it down with water about 50/50 and spray the entire bilge. For getting under the motors I use a duster on a pole used for cleaning ceiling fans in houses. The pole is plastic and flexible and you can get into all the tight spots. You can buy the dusters at Home Depot for a few bucks.

Yes... I"ve seen it at grocery stores... but at a higher price... I didn't use any solvent on the engines... just the laundry pretreater...

No... I had to remove the intakes and hoses... does anyone recognize what brand or make motor it is?.....

After blowing my transmission line, we had an oily mess in the bilge. We used Greased Lightning and hot water, I couldn't believe how clean it came. I think the hot water was the key. I disconnected the hot water to the washer and connected a hose there.
