Whipple Charger for a Fountain
Will a Whipple Charger fit a 1995 Fountain 27' without back seat modifications? And can someone tell me who Dustin is and how to contact him? I see his name mentioned several times in discussions about Whipple Chargers. Are there any negatives to this modification?

We're putting an Rtech Supercooler on a 27' Fountain that has Procharger M-3 system on it. The rear of the back seat had a spot cut out to clear the Procharger intercooler, but the supercooler fits easily behind the seat and under the top rail of the seat bulkhead.
The attached drawing has some measurements on it that may be relevant to your situation. If this is a carb engine you can relate these dimensions by measuring from the center of the carb flange. |

Check out my post in the Fountain forums : 27 Fountain Project. I've got the 502 mpi motor with the older style Whipple. The new style Whipple, I believe requires no mods to the seat bulkhead. And YES, the system is definitely worth every penny. Contact : [email protected] |
Thank you for the help! My guess is that I will need a prop change as well. Any idea what pitch and blad count?
