I use Corsa Tips on my 509 Blower Motor and I did not lose a single mile an hour from before. Just make sure they are the large diameter tips. They work so well that I can actually have a converstion with the person in the front passenger seat.

I doubt there would be enough speed differnce to be able to notice on other than big HP engines (OK - what's big - I mean really big - I have a stock 502 MAG and I would say it is really not big HP).
I have debated changing my silenced Corsa tips to a straight thru tips and for now have decided to stay with the silenced tips. The sound is a deep rumble but not so loud as to be offesive. Well maybe. I have listened to loud rock, riden loud motorcycles, and shot loud guns for most of my life - huh - what did you say?
