I've been looking around on the net for info on building a belt drive drop box/gear reduction. I've found info on belts from companies like Gates, but cant find much on cogged sprockets (like blower pulley sprockets). Can anyone point me in the right direction for thses parts. I'm interested only in big stuff, ie 700+ hp, 6000 rpm capability.

How about Lovejoy couplers. Thats what we use in our transmission dynos.
