k plane size on 35 fountain late model
your thoughts on swapping out the short k planes for the long 380's on the new style 35 lightning with the big steps like an 02 for instance??
getting mixed info.
will spin out too easy with the longer ones
will track way better with the long ones
doesnt need u wont notice diff

Don't think there would be any advantage to that unless you are running Bravo step boxes or speedmasters w/ boxes. Ran a 35 Fountain alot last summer w/ HP500efis. The 280s planes worked very well. Boat would get lose in tight turns, don't think 380 planes would help. Alot Fountain guys here though, someone knows.
