Royal Purple
I want to change to Royal Purple oil in my boat and Ford diesel truck. I'm not sure which oil to buy.
Boat engine: 496Mag modified to 550hp @ 5400rpm
Truck engine: 7.3L Powerstroke diesel
Can I use the same oil in each motor? 15W-40? I can't find any info saying the 15W-40 is ok for diesels. I found a website to buy the oil - www.rpmoil.com

I have run RP in my boat for years. I run straight 40 and get it in 5 gallon jugs.
