454 Carb

I was wondering if anyone knew what cfm carb that a 1992 7.4 merc came with. It is the 300 hp model. Also I repowered with a 454 HO that has 425 hp. Would a 750cfm carb be a good choice.

I know the Q-jet that came on the 454 mag was 750 cfm. I don't imagine the 300 cam with the same carb, maybe a 650?

Qjets and Webers were both 750cfm on 454's.
