Default AWESOME/Hemi/The real one

That is one good looking motor

Thanks for all the responses and threads.

lethalws6 what I, have been test driving is getting 13.6 and if you really get on it, 10.9 to 12.4 it slurps the gas big time.

Not sure about towing. I, did run at a steady 80 mph to Galveston the other day and it was getting 13.9 better than a slower speeds but it was starting to loosen up a little, as it had 8 miles on it and now has 325 miles, which the fuel consumption seems to get a little better with more miles. but I think the ratings on the fuel mileage are way off. they say on the sticker 14 city and 18 hwy.Don't think you would ever see 17 or 18 in this truck. I do have to admit I like how it wraps up to 5,600 and then shifts smooth and gets with it.

Love mine. Tows my 27 Fountain just fine. I get about 13 mpg in town and about 16 mpg on the hwy if I keep it under 80 mph. Towing on the hwy four hours to Orange Beach I got 11.2 mph at about 70-75 mph.

back in the early 80's, and I miss that car so much.
