hey bro you found the right place.
I have the same boat, but a 1989. I am building my 3rd motor for mine.
Stock with the 270hp was 58.3 mph.
Built a 383 ...
400-410 hp took it too 70.1 mph
same 383 just a few different parts...
around 500 hp took it too 75-76 mph
New setup I am building is a small block estimated around 570 hp.
Yes and all with the alpha drive that is still living

Sounds like Traviss can help us both. I have the other 'thread' going related to small block cam selection.
I have a 19ft baron (only 150 made back in 78). I think powerquest stole the mold (very similar). Best mini offshore hull there is, only problem getting beat by little Donzi's - NO MORE
Traviss - What cam is in your motor (picture - verrrryyyy nice)?

Hi guys, I wanted to let you all know that I have a Isky roller cam that I never ran that I would like to sell. I installed it and then plans changed so I removed it and now I do not need it. So of you know of anyone that could use it let me know. It measures 225/234 and .505/.530. Dwight
