Default valve seat pressure

has anybody set up a hp500 with more seat pressure than the 150lbs they call for, just did mine i have more like 175lbs but will lose 10 to 15 after running the motors, i called crane they said i would be fine they look for 150 to 165 lbs with the springs i used # 99896.
they called for a height of 1.900 and mine are at 1.820
any insight would be great.

thanks in advance 32 thunder rick.

Rick,
If you set the 99896 springs @ 1.820 you net 172# seat and 454# open. I would suggest the +.050" locks to increase your installed to 1.870 net 149# seat / 431# open. Its a very simple fix.
