Default Plug Wires.....again?

Did a search and looked thru 3 pages of stuff on plug wirres and I'm still not convinced I am on the right track.

Gen VI, 502, Livorsi/Vortech charger, CMI's, head work, reprogrammed ECU, etc.

What are the best pre-made plug wires? What is the dealio with stainless/spiral messing with the ECU?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Good question. I just put some Taylor 8mm Spiro Pro wires on my mostly stock carbed 502. I changed my distributor to a D.U.I. and the originals weren't quite long enough to route the way I liked. I had to cut the wires to the lenght and crimp on the distributor end but, that is not too hard.

Everybody can talk up their wires as being better than somebody elses. Frankly, it really doesn't matter. Any quality wire will work equally as well. It's when the wire gets old or is really cheap that you'll see problems.

WE USE A WIRE THAT WE ASSEMBLE AND FIT TO LENGTH FOR MARINE APPLICATIONS THIS IS A PRODUCT THAT WE HAVE USED FOR YEARS AND THE MANUFACTURER MAKES THE ACTUAL WIRE FOR MANY OF THE HIGH PERF WIRE GUYS. THE THING WE DO WITH OUR WIRES IS WE USE A TEMP. RESISTANT SLEEVE AND USE A HIGH GRADE SHRINK WRAP ON THE ENDS TO KEEP MOISTURE OUT AND HOLD THE SLEEVE IN PLACE WE USE THIS WIRE ON EVERYTHING WE BUILD INCLUDING EFI STUFF. I DON'T THINK THERE IS A BETTER WIRE OUT THERE IF THEIR WAS I WOULD USE IT IN OUR ENGINES. IF YOU WOULD LIKE GIVE ME A CALL AND ILL HAVE A SET MADE UP FOR YOUR APPLICATION I GUARANTY YOU WILL BE MORE THAN SATISFIED.LAZ MESA 1-305-884-5368 WWW.MESABALANCING.COM
