I was wondering if a K&N filter, 14" dia x 3"h was enough air filter to supply needed air to a 500hp? I think that the carb is a 800 or 850 Holley, not sure.
Does anyone know what the CFM is on this filter and the 2"h one as well same dia?
Thanks,
Mike

I don't know if it has a coast gaurd rating but I use the K&N X-Stream Air Flow Top. Summitracing has their own version of this for a little cheaper. I noticed about .5 to 1 mph increase with this top and I get about a 2 mph increase if I run with no air filtering if that helps.

Thanks Guy's for the feed back.
I'll do some more research.
I'm limited on heigth and the 3" just fits. I'm doing some work on the hatch cover and I thing I may end up hitting with the 3".
Thanks again,
Mike
