Cig Bullet Prop selection
My 1989 Cig Bullet
notched transom
Bravo drive 1.5 ratio new style
new power will be Hp500 and hope to Dyno at 550
I currently run 23p mirage and 24 pitch Bravo1 when on big water
Recomendations from the prop Gurus and do you take props in trade?

Same boat...Same year.....650hp....
I run 28s in the rough stuff & 30s for cruise...Non-labbed box stock.
My 28s will stuff the rev limiters when she is trimmed up...Bet you could turn them....

Re: Cig Bullet Prop selection
I just put a pair of dyno'd 500s in my 1988 Bullet-
Fresh TRSs-
Been running 23 mirages-
Tried a pair of stock 4 blade Bravo 25s got about 3.5 mph more (gps).
23s turn around 5000-
How hard are you guys turning yours?
On a differant note -
Do you guys get any stern lift in your boat when running wide open?
It seems to me that my boat could use a little lift on the bow above 65mph.

It is hard to get the nose loose without some chop.....
I turn the 30s about 5200.....Low humidity & chop.............
Bravo boat though.............

Re: Cig Bullet Prop selection
Have an 88 Bullet, with almost 500HP/502s. Had a pair of Stilletto 25 which came on the boat. Top about 65/67 at 5000. Bought a pr of Bravo 1 24s, was hoping for a bit more speed at cruise, and would take anything more at top. Turns out I am very close at cruise or maybe a tad less, and top about the same as before. I do notice they bite harder and boat comes up quicker, but was great before. And more mid range punch when I drop the throttles. Am planning on getting one set or the other reworked to see if I can pick up some cruise speed. Hope this helps somewhat.

Gary,
I'm spinning 26P Bravo1's at about 5500. My best guess is that 550 HP would turn the 26 B1 @ 5200.
