Default Fountain Hull ID

Does anyone know where to locate the Hull ID Number on a fountain?

On the back of the boat on the right side of the swim platform just under thr rub rail, looking at it from the back as if it was sitting on a trailer.

Yeah, engraved with a pencil grinder by hand. $200k boats with a $5 ID tag.

Also, there will be a second tag rivited in the engine compartment on the underside of the lip at the metal trim. Mine have been on the passengers side.

Easier to counterfeit the VIN with it done like an etch-a-sketch.

I was surprised to see how they were engraved on the newer Fountains. My '89 is nice and neat and looks professionally done compared to the scribbled newer ones.
