Anodizing, anyone do it?

I know this is just paint, not real annodizing but just in case you are interested for other projects.
It has held up well for a few trips so far and it looks more like the glossy powdercoating than satin annodizing.

All of the brake calipers that we produce are anodized. And for the people who want the color to last and hold-up to the UV and harsh chemicals, we powder coat over the anodizing. For what you are doing, I would think that powder coating would be all that is necessary unless you are in salt, then the anodizing as an underlay would be good.

We have a place here in MI just outside of Detroit. He did all of our Grand Prix hydroplane work and also did some work for the 46 Skater "tomcat". It is called McNichols anodizing. The number is 313-538-3470. Ask for Van or Mike and tell them Paul Smith sent you.

Cool thanks guys. They get cut on the CNC early next week. If this works out I make several and sell some. I know these things are a complaint from all the 29 Scarab owners.
