Default How much boost?

On my 29ft single Fountain I'm running a 509 w/Merlin heads, dual Nickerson 750's, roller rockers & lifters, superchiller intercooler, and MSD ignition. Using pump gas, how much boost can I safely run without getting into trouble

What compression, what blower, what cam specs? These items all can make a big differnce.

Merlin Iron heads, Timing currently 34 degrees, Compression 8-1 I believe, B & M 250 Blower, Crane Cam (do not have the specs handy). The motor was built by Teague Custom Marine.

With the iron heads, No more than 8psi. I'd back down the timing to 28-30. 34 is to high for a blower motor on todays gas.

I'm going to call them also. I just wanted to get some feedback from you guys first. As far as the timing goes, 34 degrees is where Teague wants it. I'm currently running 7 lbs of boost at full throttle. Just curious if I could bump it up a bit.

I am not sure but I do not think that blower is good for much more without building too much heat. After a point you get to diminishing returns. If teague has timming at 34 you might be able to add boost 7 backdown timing but I don't know if you will gain any HP.
