Default Full time muffler results

I like many are looking at all the new full time transom mount and clamp-on muflers on the market by companies such as HPI, GGB, Livorsi and others and it would be valuable to know what others are installing and what there results were.

Running Full Time Muffler Tips on a Blown, single engine 29 Fountain. I did not loose any top end at all, and it is much quiter. I didn't think I would like less noise, but I really don't mind it now.

I have the 6.5 inch Corsa transom mounts on my daytona/500efi and lost no rpm at all, just a little noise.

Fountaineer - What brand and model of mufflers did you install?

I have a set of GGB extreme mufflers on a 525efi. They really sound great. I don't really think I have lost any power. I just bought a decibel meter and will get a reading this weekend.

No one else? These companies have them "flying off the shelves" so there has to be others here that are using them.

I'm running the Corsa Tips as well...
I was a bit skeptical at first...As I didn't want to loose the
sound.. Then there was the issue(s) with the police...
In the end they have been a Good Product, No Loss in RPM,
Noise has been somewhat reduced. I've lost some 'Pitch but
kept the Base.. (the "Rumble" is still quite apparent which I
think is a good thing)
I have an extra set of 4inch muffs if u need em...

Hope it helps MW

I got HPI's for Yves last winter he runs them now, no lost in performance at all but the snapping noise from his blower motor is gone. He loves them. They are thru-bolts.

Of course he boats a lot with us so it mutes the point of having mufflers!

G.L - Hopefully I will see him on the water here this summer. Going to do something to reduce my noise around marinas ( like mine ) so I don't feel too bad about coming home late or leaving early and pissing people off. I have also thought about the teague switchable but it seems like a lot of work( and mess) to cut the holes to install.
