Default Prop help needed

My buddy has a 26' Sleekcraft and we need to estimate what prop to start with. The boat weighs around 4800 lbs and has a 509 that makes 565 hp and 670 ft lbs torque. My guess is a 26" four blade Bravo 1. This boat also has a 22 degree deadrise and I think it could use some stern lift to go faster.

Any guesses?????

Bigwavz,

Most of my clients with Sleekcrafts run Bravo I props. They typically run props in the 26P - 28P range depending upon motors (size) and drives (gear ratios). What have you run on the boat thus far?

A fellow up here is running a sleekcraft day cruiser. He has a 509 with a 250 blower and trs drive. I'm not sure what his pitch is, but he's running a 3 blade mirage type prop. I believe that his drive is pretty deep though.

What gear ratio is the drive? 1.36, 1.50 or 1.65 That will make a huge difference in prop selection, for example, with a 1.65 gear drive he should be able to spin a bravo 1 4 blade 30 pitch at around 5200 rpm's
