Hey 502ProCharger, don’t mean to jump in on your guys thread but your dyno sheet certainly helps me.
Sounds like a pretty familiar setup
Here’s mine if your interested.

548 c.i. GM block with all Crower internals (4.53 X 4.25).
JE –20cc blower pistons 8.5:1
ARP head and main studs
14-quart pan
Canfield 315 heads (fully worked by JimV)
Cometic head gaskets
Ferrea Special alloy valves
Crane hyd roller lifters
Roller Rockers
Crane 741 (236/244 112 .610/.632)
Single plane Brodix (Lingenfelter) port injected intake
1100 cfm throttle body with air cap
CMIs
M3 with 504 intercooler with 4.50” pulley makes ~7 lbs @ 5600-5700
Timing and A/F is controlled with FAST ECU and wide band O2 sensor. Timing is variable dependent on manifold pressure and rpm. (30* at 7 lbs and 5600-5700 rpm)
I've been estimating 825-850hp which looks to be close after looking at your sheet.

5000 lb 28 foot V with Max Machine upgraded XR drive runs 88 GPS with stock B1 30 at 5600-5700 rpm. This will improve if I see similar results as I did going to a P5-X at high altitudes.

Thanks for the great info!
Later,
Dave

Forgot a question....Is your cam a hydraulic or solid roller.
Thanks

Dave, who set-up program for your efi and where is your o2 sensor located? What lb per hr injectors are you running? If you look at the pic of my intercooler how is yours mounted in comparison? What kind of hull are you running and how fast was it with stock power? What kind of fuel pump and pressure are you running?I may change some stuff this winter if i pull motor out to freshen it (it really doesn't seem like i need to freshen it but i might). You are making excellent boost for only having a 4.5 pulley, are you sure its not reall 4.25 or 4.00?If you can, post a pic of your intercooler setup, thanks,Smitty

502 procharger,i am running a 3.85 12 rib and i have a 3.70 12 rib that i tried once and am planning to try again at the end of season with a 32 pitch prop. If the 3.70 works out i would be willing to send you the 3.85 to try (it would be the first or sec wk of sept). I am also going to do a boost pressure test measuring outlet boost of blower, outlet boost of intercooler and actual boost presure at intake. You guys are at sea level i assume,we are at 700 feet above so i am wondering why my boost is signifigantly lower,it isn't pressure drop acrossed the intercooler(we all have aw504's) i am wondering if the factory throttle blades to efi manifold are giving me a bigger drop than your carbs,Smitty

i just ordered the 3.70 and new belt today. 82 for pulley 61 for belt a little better then through procharger themselves. i am running a hyd. roller cam and cmi exhaust. just the stock 500hp cmi's. we are at sea level here in ny where i am. i was also thinking of checking my boost loss from the blower through the intercooler. i have a bunch of 90 deg bends and i assume that is killing me. i am still no not close to the m3 max rpm of 57000. i believe with the 4.0 pulley on now i am at like 49,000 so i have some room. i hope the 3.70 is not to much how much did you gain going from the 4.0 to the 3.85? another issue is i use a single carb and the 4" out of the intercooler gets dropped to like 3" or 3 1/2 inch before it gets to the carb box. i am sure that is huring me.

502,when i went from 4" to 3.85,i went from 6 psi or so at 5400 to 8psi or so at 5400,9-10 psi at 5800-6000 (when i run 28 pitch). I went from 3.85 for one day w/30 pitch to 3.70 and saw 10-12 psi around 5600. If your seeing 8-10 psi w/4 inch, you might see 14 psi w/3.70. Your seeing as much boost W/4 inch as i'm seeing w/3.85 so your carb box probably isn't as big of a restriction as my efi plenum and throttle blades, can't hardly wait to here what you gain w/the 3.70!! Hey Articfriends,
I’ll try to answer your questions.
-I do all of my own ECU tuning via laptop.
-You can see the wide band O2 sensor in the starboard collector on the CMIs.
-72 lb injectors with an Aeromotive 1:1 fuel pressure regulator
-I’ve attached a picture of my ducting setup which is very similar to yours; all 4”
-Hull is a 5000lb 28’ V that ran 72-74 with the 540 naturally aspirated. Also at that time it had a slightly smaller cam and oval port Edelbrock heads.
-I run two fuel pumps; I run the mechanical pump that’s mounted with the sea water pump. (I use the stock armature housing but an upgraded Holley pump unit) This feeds a large Racor filter/separator (4” X 8”) Then I have the Aeromotive high-pressure pump drawing out of the Racor. Then the pump obviously goes to the rails. The regulator then dumps to a fuel chiller and back to the same Racor unit. It has worked flawless for several years and creates no issues with my dual tank setup. 43lbs to 50 under boost. I really don’t need the 1:1 regulator but it is what I had at the time. I have plenty of injector to overcome the need for more pressure.
-Yes, I make pretty good boost with a 4.5” pulley. I have a 4.25 that I run at our higher elevations and it makes 8-9 lbs at 5600rpm (at 5100 feet). It takes that 8-9 lbs to achieve a true 5.5-6 lbs of absolute pressure in the manifold at that elevation however. I still make substantially more power with 7 lbs at or near sea level. Altitude is tough!!!
I believe the reason I tend to make good boost with those pulleys is the ProCharger unit itself. As you can see by the picture the housing is a M4. This was what PC called the M3 for a short time just before they came out with the new M3 several years back. PC has told be that it was a hybrid during the change and it probably puts out closer to M4 boost levels.
Bottom line is it is not an apples to apples comparison with your M3s.

Let me know if I can answer anything for you.
Dave

502ProCharger,
If you don't mind, where are you buying your pulleys and belts?
Thanks,
Dave
