I just adjusted mine with the Merc Bravo Manual and verified with the 575 Installation Manual. I used the .25" tool at helmet and 7.25" spacing at barrels. Then remove those tools and install the centering tool on bellcrank to adjust shifter centerline. Then shift shifter to full forward and make sure notch in centering tool aligns with stud. If it's off adjust bellcrank pivot. Pivot on the bellcrank is supposed to be 3" center to center to start. That said, it leaves very little thread at the end of upper shift cable for the cable end to attach so I adjust each another .25". I don't know if my cables were assembled wrong or the SCX helmet throws the adjustment out of whack.
