You could tear the engine down and build it up with new heads , cam kit, exhaust manifolds, but the computer will need to be reprogrammed and new injectors will be needed too. Maybe close to what the whipple will cost.
You could drop in a 383 inch engine, have the MPI system modified to work with it. Again the computer, injectors, and exhaust will need to be upgraded.
Cost will be close to same.
Depending on how much HP the engine will have when finished you may need to dump the Alpha drive and change to a Bravo.
Speed costs money.....how fast you want to go?
