I finished it. I tried all of the ideas (except the gasoline, window still in the car-too stinky).
I had the best luck with the window cleaner and plastic bag. I still had to use a razor blade scraper, but it did come off. The soap and water worked almost as well. In an event, it is all off and looks WAYYYYYY better. Thanks to everyone.
