adjusting bravo I indicators ...

trying to adjust mechanical drive indicators on Bravo I ...posistion drives all the way in and then set to zero ? Also ...seems there should be 2 sets of Clamps ? There is only on set on each indicator .....

You are correct ... there should be two clamps on your mech trim indicators on your 311. Adjusting them is a bear to do by yourself. I compress the spring-loaded piston until the hole at the distal end lines up with the hole on the stainless cylinder. Put a small allen wrench through the hole. Attach the indicator to the trim cylinder with the drive in the down position. The distal end of the piston should contact the stainless cup on the rear attaching bolt. Pull the allen wrench. Then trim both drives out mid-way to unload some of the spring pressure on the cylinders. Measure the distance from the front to rear trim cylinder attaching bolts, set them evenly, then adjust one indicator or the other until they match on the dash panel.
