The adjustable fuel pressure reg has to go on the fuel cooler not on the fuel rail. Add a fuel pressure gauge tee ed off the shrader valve so you can see pressure as you crank it up. I did away with the stock regulator ad installed an areomotive remote setup

jimjomack is the regulator on fuel rail for dampling the pulsing ?

I believe that is what Merc says about the reg on the fuel rail, but if you take it apart its just a regulater with a brass plug in it. This year when I freshen up my motors I am going to tap it and plug it up. Also it looks to me that it does not need the vacume line goig to it.
