I would think it will read a little higher than actual. At 320 it should send a signal to peg a gauge and the gauge will not know what sent it only that it's a "full" signal. Others hear will know more I'm sure. I think it will read high by 350/320 x temp.

All the gages read a different ohm impedance . They have to be for that particular gage .Unless you know what the ohm is for that gage to get the right sender the auto parts store does not have the info, ya have to call the sender manufacture. i think VDO make 90 % of the sender for the gages.

I sent my fuel pressure gages back to gaff and they sent new senders $$ and they where still different .There is no such thing as calibrating the gage They just match up the sending unit to it. there is a pretty good variance on the gages with the electric senders +or- % will be about 5-7 psi .before i sent them off one was 5 psi off and the other was 14 off.To set my fuel pressure now I just hook up a gage to the fuel rail with a reliable gage .

Thanks guys for the info.
Maybe over the winter months Strip Poker I may do the same with my gages and sending units, send them out to have them matched up with the right sending unit.
You had $$$ when you was commenting about sending yours out. They don't rape you to do this do they?

I was dissatisfied with the socalled recalibration . They just sold me new sending units and it was still off.

When I replaced the 2nd one I just bought it thru Trick Marine.
