TRS Gear Housing

Broke a skeg last weekend. Broke it so bad I can't weld it. :(
Looking for a used empty TRS gear housing in good shape.
Does anyone know if the RH and LH rotation
TRS use the same lower gear housing or not?

Re: TRS Gear Housing

Yes, the left and right share the same housing.

Give Mark at BAM a call. He will have a new one.

Re: TRS Gear Housing

If you find a used one make sure it has never been repaired from a blown gear. They tend to "stretch" and you will never get a correct gear pattern.

Thanks for the info Biggus. I want to find a used one because I'm considering
Konrads in a near future and don't want to spend that much $$$ on the TRS drives.

Good move.

I've logged just over 100 trouble free hours on my Konrads. They are rugged as hell. I can't break 'em.

Kurt.

Kurt, do you mind if I pm you if I have some questions
regarding the Konrads later on?
