Question Speedo Help

My speedometer quit working. It has a hose that feeds into the Bravo 1 X outdrive. Do the holes in the nose cone provide the water pressure to run the speedometer? The hose is securely connected on the speedo and on the outdrive....as far as I can see.

Would I dare blow air up in the nose cone holes? Would I take the hose off the back of the speedo and blow air down it?

Thanks for any help.

Dave

Default Re: Speedo Help

Blow it out from the top. Don't worry about pressure. 100 mph = 147 psi.
